Day 3 of giving thanks. Today I thank the Lord for my wife. The last 20 plus years she has loved and stuck with me. When I found out my grandma died just days before my birthday she was there for me. When our son was born…yeah…she was definitely there and she and I shared a great joy together. When my mom died she was there for me. She has been my rock. She is my greatest fan and critic. We have whispered words of love and yelled angrily across the house. I know one thing; I can count on her love to be found in both the whispers and the raised voice.

God has blessed us with 22 years of marriage and by God’s grace, I hope we have another 22 or more years together.

How have we gotten this far? Two words Grace and forgiveness. It is only by God’s grace that marriages last.  It takes both the bride and groom to forgive the other when they are wronged.
