The telephone has revolutionized the way we, as human beings, communicate with one another.  The idea that one person is in one part of the world and speaking to someone in another part of the world with them sounding like they are in the room next door was, is and always will be mind-blowing.

What is even more mind blowing then that? God calls you. Just like Jesus called the Paul to be an apostle, He calls you as well. We might not call you to be an apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor or teacher, but I believe Jesus calls each one of us to something.

We are created in the image of God and within the creation there is a calling for the created to reflect glory back to the divine. We all do it differently. The artist with art. The preacher with words. The waiter with service. The professor with intelligences. The teacher with patience. The police officer with justice. We all are called to reflect who Jesus Christ is in world. Who is Jesus calling you to be? What is Jesus calling you to do? For whole is Jesus calling you to serve? Why is Jesus calling you? He is calling you to reflect who He is to a lost and dying world.
